This was the first assignment we were given to finally experiment with color. I thought I would love when this day finally came, but using color is actually quite frustrating. My first draft I merely experiment with how the color was going to look on trash paper. This was the second copy I did where I experiment with layering colors and capturing the light, and it was actually quite successful. I also went in with color pencil to add some shadows and extra texture. My third draft was done on printer paper which made the colors very saturated, so needless to say, I was not too impressed. The final two copies were experimenting with layering colors and shadows to create the most successful rendering.
